I am replacing the after marking single din head unit that was installed in my discovery 2. Ive managed to get the unit out and keep the original wiring intact as ive read on here that there are ISO adapters that wont need any cutting and soldering.
Ive been looking around online and can find a few ISO adapters for Sony head units but the one i have found here
https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/sony-stereo-loom-16-pin-to-iso-car-wiring-radio-loom.html
Or this one
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/DISCOVERY-SERIES-II-CAR-STEREO-RADIO-INSTALL-WIRING-HARNESS-WIRE-ADAPTER-2-/280790042865
Doesnt support my Sony head unit which is a CDX-GT600UI. I have emailed the guys at dynamic sounds to see what they can find as they are the closest i have found to simply plugging in both ends and im good to go.
If i cant find a plug for it. I do have the original plug from my old car for the Sony deck but i will have to cut both plugs and solder. i dont really want to do that. is that my only alternative option?
Cheers,
Nathan
