As some of you are aware ive been off cruising on the yacht for a while. Just sailed back to Qld from Tassy & I'm looking for a Series 1 to get me around in the style I am accustomed to. I wish i had stored Borumba but shes gone to Victoria. Im off to WA in a few weeks to drive a back up vehicle on the CSR for some mates on bikes & i hope to pick something up while I'm there and catch up with a few old Landy mates.

Mike,
Good to meet you at South Hedland shopping centre. This is what is buried at Well 23, but I think the ice may have melted. Have a great trip and I hope the Toyota keeps going.

Hi Rick ,
Now back in Perth flying home Sunday night. We did the complete CSR in 10 days. No problems with the Toyota just a couple of pinched tubes which we fixed with patches. The bikes went great as well the Husaberg did a rear wheel bearing 15 ks from Wiluna but we had a spare. Met some interesting charecters along the way . Sam on an electric bike towing a solar panel on a trailer. Tas the guy who runs the shop & fuel at the community half way. I couldnt find your beers but didnt spend long looking we were trying to keep up with the bikes. Infact on 2 days we beat the bikes to the finish due to better navigation & less fatigue. Longest day 270 ks from well 6 to Wiluna. Even though we were pushing hard not a single scratch on the tojo. some very wet areas after Wolfe Creek but most was dry & fairly easy only had to have a second go on 2 dunes. I will do it again & take a gold detector some nice looking country for prospecting.
Mike:)
