Hi Guys
I have followed the Aulro site for 6years or more (mainly with a D2a) but never posted a thread as you had already answered all my queries
Keep up the good work
Now we are heading North and need another 19' rim for the D4, would like to change to 18' but can't justify the cost.
So has anyone found a supplier for a single 19" Rim in WA?

There is someone selling a set of 5 on here - not sure if their price is for 1 rim or the whole lot, but if it is the lot for $525, that's not bad, and you could either offload the others or something with the extras, and they are in WA

19 foot rim? Flamin' heck!
:D
Welcome to the forum, Smudge.
Check the Markets. There are some for sale in Perth. The bolt PCD is right but it depends on your brakes. I'm not sure if the wheel nuts required are the same as yours. I know the 18" RRS wheels I have for my L322 Rangie require a different nut.

Smudge, what motor is in your D4? I'm assuming it's a 2.7 tdv6. LR 18" wheels don't fit the 3.0 D4.

Where is North?
I will have 4 LR 19" for sale next time I'm home.

Smudge, try the LR dealers in Perth; when I lived in Perth some years ago they occasionally ended up with odd sets of wheels (5 incl spare) as people upsized/blinged their RR's. I managed to get a brand new 18inch for my D3 for $250.
cheers

Thanks guys
Yes a 19' lift would be excessive. The 5 x 19" rims in Perth have been sold apparently. My D4 is 3.0ltr so a single 19" rim would suit best.
18" rims from GOE are designed to fit but for the amount of offroad I intend unrealistic.
I have found a 19"rim on the East coast at $395 plus delivery but in WA would be good.
We are heading toward the Kimberly and another spare is good insurance

Hi Smudge. I am on the casual look out for a 19" rim as a second spare also. If you find a set we may be able to split costs to make it viable. I would prefer the MY14 spoke pattern if spending serious $$$ though.
Cheers Chris

Don't mind me. I miss read your post, and thought you were looking for an 18" rim. A 20" rim with a standard 255/50/20 tyre is an option.

I have a 19" RRS wheel you can have.
A bit scuffed around rim but suitable for 2nd spare for trips.
I'm in Melb, heading to Adelaide then Simpson Desert in 4 weeks.
Similar to photo but in std silver.
I can take photo tomorrow, wheels at work.

So, guess who just happens to have 4 x 19" inch rims spare??? :D
I was going to use them to swap between Highway and off road treads, but managed to get the Duratrax, and SWMBO is happy with the ride, noise and grip.
I drove to the Nullarbor Road House last year to pick them up, as someone had totally trashed the brand new tyres on them. Think a minimum of 6 plugs in each sidewall, on each of the 4 tyres, and you will be close.
Thus, they are taking up space. I have had the tyres stripped off them, as they were beyond stuffed, so they are sitting there naked, alone, in the dark & cold.
The rest of the info is in an ad in the Markets Section. ;)

Did those rims originally have Duratracs on them(the tyres with the plugs)?????

Thanks mate.
There is lots of discussion going on in the moderators area at the moment about advertisements in threads,it had to go.
Putting 2 and 2 together I rekon I can guess the history of those wheels.
They were left there to be sold as a donation to the RFDS,correct????
Fair chance they were the ones damage filming this;););););););)

Yep, those are the ones. :D
So, hypothetically, if they were to go to someone else, then they even come with some history. :D
