High Pitch Noise

Hey folks again. Loving my new Freelander 2 but have so many questions. My main question is after turning the engine of or even when the engine is off and I open any door there is a high pitch electrical sounding squeal coming from the engine bay. It lasts may be 20 seconds or so then stops. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated and is this normal.

Its normal. It's a butterfly in the intake for egr operation.

Thanks. I had a good listen last night and yes, at the end of the noise you can hear the butterfly flap function like my throttle body on my GTI.
