I don't want to force them if they won't but a quick try ended without success.

Just want to create a little more storage capacity when folded down.

cheers

Suggest an RTFM - which details how to remove the head rest and fold the rear seats completely flat [emoji41]

thanks - mine doesn't though. That's why I'm asking.

Push the height button, pull headrest up.
There is a hidden tab on the black plastic ring attached to seat...push that in with a small screwdriver, and pull headrest up.

That works on my D4.

But you do need 3 hands to remove them.

I was able to remove mine without a screwdriver. It would be easier with two people but I have large hands and found it relatively easy although slightly awkward. I leave my middle headrest out (kept in the back in case of need for a passenger) all the time for better rear vision.

The middle seat head rest is a pain in the rear view mirror, I agree!!

I took the whole seat out and installed an Fridge, much better now!

I'm damned if I can see the above mentioned hidden tab. Anyone have a picture i can refer to. I'm trying to remove middle rear headrest and having no luck.

Are you talking 2nd row or 3rd row?

Forget that I just realised that by saying middle headrest it has to be 2nd row.

Here you go .... both need to be pressed in to get headrest out.

Beat me to it Scott:)

Here's a close up I took about 10 Minutes ago - shame to waste the effort of doing it :p

Thank you both. Feeling slightly stupid, how obvious it is from the other side !

Came out really easily too. ;)
