Just bought my first Range Rover.. Its a 2005 Sport with 169Ks on the clock.
I live 10 mins past Windsor/Richmond area of NSW... Who would you guys recommend to do services etc?
Also - I wonder if anyone on here owned it previously!
Thanks

Hi, I've moved the thread to the early RRS area (D3/D4/RRS) as that model is based on a Disco 3.
Service work I can't do myself I have done by KLR Automotive at Sth Windsor. They are Land Rover specialists. Welcome to KLR Automotive - KLR Automotive (http://www.klrautomotive.com.au/)
If you live on Bell's Line of Road, Brad from KLR might be able to pick the car up to save you a trip as he travels along that road from out Bilpin way.

I really like the look of the rims you bought and even if others say they like the black set, I say you made the right choice doing the change over. ;)

Are they the plasticoated wheels on Ebay now?
Is that a mitch or recovery hitch you've put on the back?
Was the tail gate update from PowerfulUK? Not top of my list but it certainly looks neat. Did it come with the colour coded panel?

Hi Stuart,
Here are my responses:

Yep - I put them on this morning.
Is that a mitch or recovery hitch you've put on the back?
Its the recovery hitch and i got the wiring from the U.K - Took about 2hrs to fit.

Yep, it came colour coded in Zambesi, they have a few different pre painted options..

Just to add:
on the PowerfulUK Kit..
The kit and quality is good and I imagine they have invested a lot in it.. It came colour coded to my car which was great.
But the fit isnt the best, even the video on YouTube showing the install shows how bad the chrome strip fits to the top cover... I'll have to keep playing with it..
But i think it looks better...

Thanks for that feedback. Yeah it was a nice touch on the later models. I've been wondering if I can justify it from any practical aspect - less dust accumulation or something?!

If you're partial to bling you might like the Osram DRL/foglights. Not cheap but great kit :)

Nice! Love how much fun you're having pimping the ride.
Are the badges more PowerfulUK stuff? Mine are all worn out too...

Hi Stuart,
I got the badges (2 x Sets) from HERE (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/252212783025?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)
I also bought a caramel wheel to remove the glue/residue from the old badges (on the bodywork) - I got that from HERE (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/321852417530?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)
I think i'm all pimped out.... Might have to buy another one just do it again... Its fun!

John, is it difficult to take apart the headlight assembly (and reinstate)?
I assumed it would be a sealed unit like my D4.
Cheers,
Scott

Hi Scott, If you get a Heat Gun and start on a corner - Heat around the corner and the 2 sides (Put some gloves on) and then start pulling the lense away from the housing, once it starts to move - Heat the black sealant and it will come apart.
