TD5 Rocker Cover Gasket....

Just a quick question.....

I have replaced the rocker cover gasket and ECU injector loom (due to Oil in the loom to the ECU)

Is their an order of tightening the bolts down?

I cannot find anything, only that it is to 9Nm.

Or just go opposite to each other and work my way along....

My preferred order is centre, then alternate sides and front/back...

Do them lightly and then go over again tensioning to final value.

A little tip put some gasket sealer at the back where it is semi circular . Make sure it is as clean As ! Check it's nice and clean with some kitchen roll , or equivalent . They tend to leak there if you do them dry !!.. Jim
