Gathering opinions on the various 20" options - looking for moderately aggressive AT tyre - all opinions appreciated

I've had the Nitto Terra Grapplers for the past couple of years. No problems off-road or towing. I've done about 35,000kms on them and they're about 50%.

I've heard good things about the Nitto's too; I've got the Coopers and very happy with them (285/50 LTZ); Cant recall how many km's but I suspect similar to the Nitto's in wear, including one long (7000km) Outback trip towing over 3 tons which no doubt wore the rears a bit.
cheers

A brother is soon to be home in NSW from a trip to Perth via the coast then back through the centre in his TDV8 RRS on 265/50R20 Nittos towing a camper trailer with no reports of tyre problems. LLAMS is fitted of course.

My BFG KO2s do a good job even if a little noisy.

Just wondering if the BFGs rub with/without LLAMs?

I've got 265/50R20 Nittos and they are great. Has them for about 10,000km and still look like new. Handle well and not too bad in the wet considering it's a Fairly aggressive AT.

My BFGs don't rub on my L322 unless dropped to the bump-stops and then only limits the steering angle, but different to a D3/D4/RRS

What about the speedo readings when changed from 19 to 20 inch tyres?

I already have 20" factory - I assume speedo has been corrected. 255/55/20 - looking at 285/50/20 which is 0.9% circumference difference

How wide are your rims? Mine are 10J, which makes me worry about going less than 275 on the tyres

If it was factory standard, then the speedo would have been calibrated by LR.
After market is the question.

Yes mine came from factory

The LR recommended tyre sizes for the various listed 17/18/19/20" rims on the placard have the same approximate OD so no speedo differences.

255/55/20255/50R20 is the standard 20" size for a D4.

I have the Nitto's in 275/55R20 on my Sport. They've done around 20000km so far and still look like new. This includes the last Perth to Fraser Island & return trip a few weeks ago. The Wilcannia to Bourke dirt road was run at night at high speed (with the camper trailer). Not a mark on the tyres, and confident handling. They performed well on the Fraser Island sand too.

Cheers

Gordon, are they the newer TG2 carcase and pattern?

How noisy are they?

If only I could squeeze them onto my 2010 Sport :(
