In the past I have used a variety of motorcycle specific motor oils YamaLube, Motul etc. I was always lead to believe that the motorcycle specific oils had specific additives for the wet clutches. Talking to the local oil supplier and questioning them if they had any motorcycle oil they said that, no but the oils they have are suitable and they supply many motorcycle shops with oil.
Looking at my manual they recommend Yamalube 4 or any SAE 10W30 or 20W40 SE motor oil.
Using the SAE - SE motor oil would be cheaper and I could buy it in bulk and use it in another vehicle as well.
What do you recon?

Sometimes its whats not in the oil that's the difference. Friction modifiers in some car type oil doesn't work well with wet clutches.

Using Castrol 4T in the Hyosung atm....
