I remember the Meckering earthquake. I was a kid living in the Pink Lake caravan pk in Esperance. Dad was working on his car which was on a concrete slab. I was leaning on the car and it rocked a little bit and my old man flew off the handle at me for rocking the car. He found out later it was the Meckering 'quake that caused it.

I remember some Earth Quakes that supposedly shook Sydney a bit. I either didn't feel them or was thinking that I was performing above expectations.
Nah... That never happened. :p

You might be thinking of the 1989 Newcastle earthquake that was felt as far away as Sydney.:)
