Hey Matt,
I spied your truck in the pics from the weekend and noticed you had some MT's on your truck and I dont mean Mickey Thompsons 8O
What brand and size were they and how did you find them

They are $100 retreads from the local tyre dealer, they have the exact same tread pattern as the BFG muddies. I found them to be an excellent tyre, for the price i paid, i can wreck 2 or 3 of them before it costs me as much as one new muddie. I gave them a work out in some sharp rocks etc and they barely has a mark on them, some of the shoulder lugs had come cuts in them. The only problem is they just grab the gaurd a little, even after the lift, but nothing to really worry about, i will get the gaurds cut out a bit later, but its acceptable at the moment, they only just touch, not catch the gaurd and bend them like it did before the lift (the rear gaurd at the bottom behind the wheel). Thats what i was thinking, and you are right they do look better than any other type of flare i have seen. They look good on the last link because they have used the plastic moulding all the way along the car not just the flares. I will have to find out how much the flares will cost and then how much to get the gaurds modded and then the flares fitted. Matt
