Can anyone recommend a good/reputable wheel alignment outfit in the Richmond/Windsor (NSW) area which is open on Saturday mornings that can do a Defender?

I spoke with Jax's in Mulgrave who obviously do wheel alignments. The guy said they couldn't do it for 6 weeks or so as the only guy he has on his work force who could do a Defender was injured and the younger guys didn't have the skills. They apparently don't learn this any more. He did suggest another place that specialise in trucks so I rang them but they are not open on Saturdays.

I had it adjusted earlier in the year at another tyre shop and they managed to make some difference after two attempts. Was pulling to the right. Now with different (new) tyres it is pulling to the right again. I am not keen to got the previous place as it has changed hands and the 'service' is not what it used to be. Was family owned but now part of a chain, just trading on the old name.

Any ideas?

Cheers
Simon

Hmm. Wheel alignment doesn't get more basic than a Defender.
Toe in or toe out. That's it.
Many here do it themselves with any method of trammel, tape measure or string. If the toe is set, anything else is because of tyre pressures, odd tyre sizes( unlikely), worn swivels, bent housing, tie rods/ball joints or damaged bushes front and/ or rear.
I'd be measuring the toe myself and then start checking the other things mentioned.
Any wheel alignment place that can't set your Defender shouldn't be visited for anything.

And unfortunately can't help with a business near you.
