A slightly Different What Oil Thread

Hi Everbody
I am about to head off on a long central Australia / Western Australia trip.
I would like to take some top up oil with me just in case. I realise I should not need it however.
The manual as supplied with my MY 14 Defender simply states Castrol SAE 5W-30. Yet I read on various other threads there is a Ford spec, a DPF spec etc.
My question is where are these other specs referenced, am I missing an addendum to my owners manual ?.

That's all my manual says also. Type in Google, "oil brand" net lube and you will find what you need

Thanks Bigblue seems strange as owners we have to rely on google for such an important issue.
