Hi all, i know number 5 has only just passed but i would like to organise the next one with plenty of time so people have the ability to organise there schedules.
The plan so far is this (the date isnt set yet it depends on some Uni mates who are coming up- the plan is to have as many land rovers on hand to show their hilux up style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif )
Arrive saturday as early as possible, go up mount airley, we are talking a full day here so a 9-10am start is a must. A BBQ and bonfire will follow on saturday night.
Sunday, depending on how many people come the Spanish Steps is on the cards but a maximum of 10 vehicles is set so if 8 or less members come we can do that, failing that there are plenty of tracks out that way to explore, we found another good powerline track last weekend.
Thats the plan more details will be posted later, this is so people know the dates. Matt

Well - not completely drowned. I hit the first deep creek crossing a little fast. I made it through, but about 100 metres up the track it just stopped. Had to open up the dizzy and spray a heap of crap in to dry it out a bit.  .
Next creek crossing I will hit a bit slower style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif

Engine blocks are/were a favourite trick in some of the big mud holes around Menai/Sandy Point for those that know where I am talking about.
Ace, Looks like I should be able to get to this BBQ (with a bit of luck)

No problems Andrew, early Saturday is good, i would like to be out of my place by 9am or 10 at the leatest to allow for the trip up and along Mt Airley, we will need that much time, although we will have daylight savings in our side.
Good stuff bushie, look forward to seeing you. Matt

few minor hiccups the rangie needs alittle attention and the "Handbrake" May need some convincing before the boy gets paroled
But all should be fine for show "Goin' Bush" action as Lachie puts it.

Apart from the usual i.e. flat battery which was brand new and needed to be replaced as they hadn't topped up the cells thanks to the warranty I now have a new one. then there's the unexplained 2000km's added the grass inside?? oh nearly forgot the med's unused of course I found floating around on the floor in the back(considering I had detailed it inside and out before taking it there) Nope everthings just dandy
Just got to iron out a few noises, to be expected after not being used for such a long time.
Lachie nearly did cartwheels when I got it back home, took hours for the smile to wear off both his and mine style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif
Had to take it offraod today just to get back some of what I haven't had for ages.....mmmmmmm......Mud!!!!!!
