Don't know the story except its on the Holland Track , French overlander Laurent Verges, LHD Iveco 4x4 camper, can only surmise he pulled over into an unseen hole / ditch for whatever reason

About a decade ago, someone posted an almost identical photo of a Defender.
I think the Defender incident may have been near Nowra and that the driver was taking it for a test drive.

I got excited there.. I thought Oops was the lead into another 'Oops-Ive bought a truck' thread!
Looking at that pic, I'd think he'd be a lucky fella.. As its not gone right over, there'd prob be minimal damage. :)

That is actually the main track. There are a lot of puddles and bog holes on the track, after heavy rain it's almost impossible to tell the difference. The giveaway is if there is a bypass track, if there is the puddle is actually a bog hole as Laurent found out.
