Damsel in Distress with Memory Seat Settings

Hi there all,


I have a MY06 Range Rover Sport TD2.7 V6 and would like to know how to clear the previous owners memory seat settings and replace - I've followed the destruction manual with no success and it's driving me batty. There seems to be no other issues with the seats except accepting the new settings - I've read about a 'hard reset' and am wondering if this is the approach to fix the problem - please help as I'm getting a bad dose of potty mouth.

First off you have posted in the incorrect forum, but I'm sure a mod will be along to move it to the correct one.


Secondly I had a similar issue with my second key for my L322 RR. In the end it require perseverance as it took many goes to get the thing to remember the new setting.

The other thing to do would be call into a dealer and get them to do it, as in show you how its done. Maybe they can hook up and erase the previous settings (?)

Don't you just "overwrite" them with your own preferences?
