A few dramas with the towpro brake controller and camper electric brakes.
I have just fitted a new electric brake on one side of the trailer. On the previous one the shoes became loose inside the drum and worn away to nothing, and there was other damage. But the drum was ok. So I bought a new backing plate and fitted it.
The towpro never worked perfectly. Over level 4 it would indicate out of calibration until wound back lower. Which could have been related to the iffy brakes on one side. Anyway replacement now fitted.
Another complication is the kids bent the controller knob shaft, and when I tried to bend it straight it snapped.
Now the towpro controller switch is flashing blue and purple. Does anyone know what this colour code means? It's not in the manual.
Can I get a replacement controller?
Thanks.
