Still remember it well, a few mates and I were over at long beach near Cape Cleveland fishing the night it happened. A tragic loss of lives. :(

Some things stick in your mind. JFK's assassination, Voyagers sinking, and the Blackhawk Townsville tragedy, they may be gone, but never forgotten.

A well drilled and well turned out Guard, I hadn't known the Aviation Regiment march was " Those magnificent men in their flying machines". Says it all, really.
