Gday All,
Was just looking at ebay and started to see the cost of a fuel filter for a 2007 onwards which is the small filter with the water senser fitting in the base. - around $100 a filter. a quick look at uk and I can see why people don't shop local no more. What's even worse is I am not surprised at such a ridiculous cost difference.

I can get you Sakura,Fleetguard, Donaldson or Ryco at cost plus the shipping to you if your interested.
I use either Ryco or Sakura myself.
Most of the filters come out of the same factories. Many if the "brand name" filters just have a different coat of paint.
Cheers

Thanks for the offer , I can go thru our filter supplier at work and see what the after market version is and most likely get a similar deal.
I was more making the point as has been made many times in the past that it is very hard to support local when the price is more than double , in this case triple compared to what is offered from the UK parts sellers.

That is unfortunately the case all to often.
I don't mind paying a bit extra to buy local, but I don't like being blatantly ripped off.
It's not always the retailers fault though.
