Secret / Hidden D4 features?

Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere, but just stumbled upon another thread that mentioned the secret diagnostics screen in centre console. (Works via holding down the valet button - top left corner - until the diagnostics screen comes up)
Not sure what use this feature is though, ie. If you can change any features?

Then searched online and stumbled upon a couple of other features such as holding down the unlock button on key fob will unlock various and open all windows simultaneously. Vice versa for the lock button. Handy feature for a hot day.

Anyway wondering if anyone has any other hidden features for this car or whether anyone has hacked the centre console screen to be able to unlock other features/specs?

There's nothing to change via the screen diagnostic screen. Best hack is turning off the seat belt reminder bing by quickly inserting and removing the seatbelt I thing it is 7 times.

Thanks. Didn't work whilst the car was moving or stationary. Is there any more info like has to be off or in Park etc?

It's been a long time since I did mine. Quick search suggests, ignition ON (engine not running, i.e. press start button without depressing brake pedal).
insert remove seat belt (drivers) 9 (nine) time in quick succession, ignition OFF. Start engine and check that bong is off.

Just did this. On the ninth time the car dinged. So something must have happened...

Thanks, mine dinged too & the annoying bong has gone. The light stays on though.

I had to change the CCF (car config file?) with Gap Diagnostic to get all windows to close when lock button is held. It was already configured to open when unlock button was held.

There is a hidden bong in the car????
I hope the law dont find it during a roadside stop.

What is Gap Diagnostic? My car can open all windows as well but closing with lock button on key doesn't work.

Google GAP tool,its one of the few Diagnostic tools that can alter the files in the ECUs,many only read faults and give readings.
Your dealer should be able to enable it for free during a service,its not a standard feature in Awestralia.

Thanks Andy. I actually have my car in next Monday to have the b pillar rattle issue fixed. Other than the windows up lock feature is there anything else worth asking them to turn on?

Also does anyone know whether the features in the centre console such as DAB are in built (requiring software to turn on) or are they an actually different unit/physical module that gets added on at build?

They get added during the build.People are working out ways around adding them as generaly a dealer wont,more likely isnt allowed too.The window operation you want shouldnt be an issue.

Not sure about other stuff but DAB stands for Digital Audio Band (I think) meaning you've got digital radio. If you have there will be a black oval shaped pod on the rear of the roof near the tailgate. I've got DAB and whilst the quality of sound is definitely better there are reception problems at times that you don't get with AM of FM.
