Well got the RRS booked into Roo Systems on 4th July ( should go in with a 6 gun and flag) for Legendex genie exhaust, ECU (touring/towing program) and LLAMs. Will pass on how it all goes.:)

Look forward to your report! Are you getting an EGT guage as part of that setup?
What's the diameter increase over standard for the exhaust?

No EGT but exhaust is ceramic coated. 3" dump pipes. Rest of exhaust is also coated. I think that should really help with EGT temps. If you look at their site they list Legendex exhaust for D3/4 (made by Genie just round corner). There s not one on shelf for RRS so mine will be modified D3/4 unit. However they reckon once mine is done, they will have template and can do others easier. I have to wait for exhausts to come back from treatment.

Just had a look at the Roo's Website and there doesn't seem to be any information about what they can do for a RRS. Can you advise what increases in performance you are expecting??? And sorry this may be a silly question but has your exhaust failed, is that why you are replacing it or purely for better performance??? Would also be good to know approximate costs of this, I am looking at doing some long term caravan hauling and would be keen to know what can be achieved.

Meccles you have a 3.0 SDV6?

FYI here is the Roo Systems Dyno map on a MY12 SDV8 (4.4 dual, sequential turbos) pre and post 3 inch dual exhaust and ECU remap "Towing and Touring".

That's a rather impressive increase in power and not too shabby for torque either.

Indeed Graeme, quite noticeable...and sounds sensational too as Grant will attest to :D Quiet when cruising along at a set speed...and a beautiful V8 growl when you, err, flatten it...:wasntme:

The standard growl isn't too bad either as I discovered recently, having decided to overtake an accelerating B-double in the face of an on-coming truck.

Thanks CS Brisie, the increase in both figures is dramatic. I wonder if the same figures can be achieved with the 3.0litre V6. I look forward to hearing what happens with the Fuel economy as most people report as good or better fuel figures. Good luck with it sounds like a really good option. The Growl would also make it worth it!!!!

TBH not much of a change in fuel consumption...

Ok mine is 3.0SDV6. Tune is exactly same as they list for D3/4. They anticipate around 230-240 Kw. And near 700nm. Fuel economy the same. Re the exhaust no mine hasn't failed but having had several TDV8's before the SDV6 exhaust note is well..non existent. Plus there will be a performance benefit. Re why ceramic coating -mainly to help with EGT. Cost, well mine is a bit dear (of course:() cause I think I am first to get the Lengendex fitted to a Sport. So it was not off the shelf. But, the D3/4 prices are pretty good guide. Am also getting LLAMS (thanks Graeme). So will be quite poor but hopefully have big smile afterwards :)

Ok cars back[emoji3] well exhaust looks good they are actually done by a company called " bend it" looks smart and well done. A nice deep growl. Note you can hear it at 110 not bad but deep note. If you want silence don't go this way. But it reminds me of our TDV8 very throaty when on the gas. Does it go better? Yes for sure. I think it is very close to TDV8 now, so close I am well happy. SWMBO noticed difference immediately. Couple of pics attached, sorry forgot LLAMs which they fitted, to lower right of steering column. So, am well happy though poor[emoji3] Dyno sheet attached about 710 mm and approx 220kw at flywheel

Meccles, I'd be grateful if you posted a photo of the LLAMs on your steering column. I'm considering the same.
