Before I cough up for a courier I thought I'd see if it was worth a 6 pack to anyone to help me out with a 20 x 10J Alloy sitting at my sister-in-law's in Annandale? Perhaps someone heading south for the school hols?

Thanks in advance

Dean

How urgent? I will shortly be going into Annandale to pick up some L322 mats and I may be going to Spargo for the Winter Wombat in early August. I'm sure you'd find someone to take it from me to Melbourne

Collected today, Dean. By heck, that rim is heavy! The location was not quite across the road from the other place I had to go to. :D

Thank you so so much! Great that it worked out so conveniently. They're a serious lump of alloy alright! Plenty of packing space inside them :)

Traffic was an absolute nightmare in both directions with roadworks and multiple accidents. I very nearly hit a bloke ahead of me who ducked into the lane beside us then decided he wanted out just as I went past him. Dunno how I missed the old bloke. No blinkers for either move.

Eugh. Sounds like a pretty standard Eye-of-the-Tiger Sydney commute, then?

Well, this is a problem Dean. My trip south is off, my wife is going into hospital for surgery on 5th August.

I apologise that I won't be able to take this down for you.

We'll need to sort another delivery. I'm happy to hold the wheel until another method can be arranged.

Again, I apologise and I'm sorry to have got your hopes up.

I've got a tyre with Homestar I needed to collect for myself.

I'm sorry to hear about your wife, I hope it's not too serious.
Do you know anyone else heading south to Spargo or Melbourne?

No, I don't.

BUT, if we can find someone going to Corowa for the 30th July KVE meeting, maybe we can con, er, ask them to take it there. There will be forum members at that meeting.

Did the rim end up getting to Melbourne?
I'll be up for the Expo at the end of the month if it hasn't headed south.

It did make it, thanks - Ron went beyond the call to make it happen.
