I was in toolangi today with 8 other Cars on a nice 4WD Monthly Trip.
On one of the downhills a Shortwheelbase Landcruiser 73 Series Mini Troopy experianced one of the scariest things i have seen in some time...
Lucky i was out of the car at the time to Video the downhill desent...
It was steep and the ledge just tipped it over.
End result. 1 stuffed door and the bull bar bent when it road down the hill on the Bar.
See attached File.

Now theres a sphincter moment. 8O
I don't think its a wheelbase prob though, even though the rear was really light judging by the suspension. The rear wheels have climbed the bank on that line. When its at the top of the climb (during the decent) though it looks like theres nothing left in it! 8O

I hope the driver had some of those waterproof seat covers 8O 8O
Didnt look like the back suspension was doing to much work?

Hi there
O what a feeling
water proof seat covers and a clean set off under cloths required after this little wheel lifting experience, the man with the camera had the right idea of not being in the car

I dont think he did to bad, the wheels seem to be moving with the ground and not slipping...
Speed wasnt to excessive, any slower and he may have just gone right over. Or lost traction and started to slide (i dont know how slippery it was).
Was pretty 8) if yah ask me style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin.gif

Well an interesting video.... good example of selecting the right gear for the obstacle and keep your foot off the brake..cars are front brake biased so it would'nt help riding them on a steep decsent bit like front brakes on a bike going downhill... cool vid though sclarke..
