It has the OME 50mm lift, which aquates to 40mm in real terms, soon to have a new lift as the OME springs are cactus, i definatly needed more clearance as on some of the steps i was hanging up and pushing my rear quarter panels up and popping the rear taillight out as well.

I have the 245/75/16 Coopers this size in the DII with a 50mm lift is the most popular, these and the 265/70/16 are the largest you can go without modifying the rear wheel carrier, these 2 tyres are 30.5" in diameter, your standard tyre diameter is 29.0" with the 235/70/16s.

You'll find that going up in diameter will take power away from the car because of the larger rolling diameter and weight of the wheel too.

Hope this helps.

no worries, redback.
thanks for the info!

You are a comedian Baz, i would love to come on the longer runs, and will do next year when marcos is older. I will come on as many as i can afford to next year, if we sell stacey's house we will be alot better off. But Stacey reckons she will come next year. But we cant come if you dont tell us you are going Baz.

I just watched the vids, those rock shelves look quite good, now i know where it is, how do you get there? matt
