Hi everyone,
We are waiting on some bushes for our TD5 110. We are stuck in Hawker, SA. The part was meant to be sent yesterday but is lost so we need to wait another day.
We are now 2 days behind on a Simpson tag along tour.
Does anyone have this part nearby, we have a hire car so could drive to get it.
Thanks

Thanks for that. We tried his number, had to leave a message. Any chance he has a mobile number?
Cheers

I think there's a Patrol bush that is the same size. If you can cross reference to a Superpro part number, you may be able to find one at the local parts shop.
I had mine fail on a trip, tightening it would do a few hundred kms, but then it would suddenly get a death wobble when hitting a pothole. I replaced it in Perth, but put in a Superpro in after I got home. The Superpro will be a lot easier to fit without a press on the side of the road, though you may need a press to remove the old one if you can't bash it out.

Hawker is equidistant from Wilmington [106km] as it is from Port Augusta [105km]. Perhaps tightening the bush will keep it tight for that distance and he can get a Superpro from Port Augusta. There must be a lot of couriers between Adelaide and Pt Augusta, to get it delivered ASAP, if there aren't any in stock locally.
However Wilmington will be a much friendlier encounter and add to the good memories of the trip.

The odds of an Adelaide distributor holding the Superpro bush will be very poor...
I know this from experience.

And I'm very aware of where these places all are - I'm up there regularly. [emoji41]
David will almost certainly have the parts!

Good on you Tombie. It warms the heart to witness the LR brotherhood in action. I've previously been stuck in Pt Augusta for days waiting on a part. Hope it all works out easily for you fatcat.
