Like that? Is what it is called and is what the plexiglass/glass sits in to slide and seal. These days comes in single and double channel sueded/flocked rubber. Modern rubber backed will not fit the existing S1 metal channel.

All of the felt in my window channels is knackered none existant. Would suppose that perhaps one might find some in UK???

However, "thoughts" or other solutions:

Mine:

go find some single and double felt channel in UK (or perhaps in Oz. Anyone? Rare Spares??)
Use current deffie rear sliding glass channel and use glass or plexiglass.
Use single and double bailey channel available from Clarks and/or such like and fabricate retainers around the bailey channel.

Anyone else's solutions????

Cheers

The felt/flocked metal is available from the usual suspects.

Paddocks carry it as kits or individual part numbers (just not for Series I) eg. 336451 | Window Channel - Paddock Spares (http://www.paddockspares.com/336451-window-channel.html)

4-Wheel Drives in Melbourne carry it in kits and also used to keep it in long lengths.

These guys carry it Scott' Old Auto Rubber Catalogue (http://www.scottsoldautorubber.com.au/catalogue.htm)

Doug Matthews, rubbershop.com.au carries a lot of different size Bailey Channel. Does mail order and attends quite a few Swap Meets in the Southern Queensland area. 044782237 will also find him.
