Play around with nanocom and tried the day running light setting. It works when I set it to NO HEAD.
Whats the different between NO HEAD and NO MAIN?
Thanks

No headlights (headlights off) compared with not on high (main) beam.

IIRC, DRLs and headlights (high or low beam) are not supposed to be on at the same time. One or tother.

DRLs by law activate with the ignition and extinguish when the headlight switch is activated.

I have a 2000 Discovery 2, TD5 and a Nanocom. Would be interested to know where/how you have integrated DRL into your existing wiring loom.
Cheers,

Hi Leon
I didnt do anything on the wiring. It must have been setup before.
All I did was enabling the DRL using nanocom. I remember there was a thread here on how to setup DRL. I think you need to link something the driver fusebox.

You don't need to link anything in the fuse box all d2s have the capability it just needs to be turned on in the bcu

I have set mine to be enabled but all I get is a rapid flashing of the headlights and a corresponding clicking noise. As mine is an early D2 maybe there is a link one has to make in the fuse box. Can anyone enlighten me on this as a search does not bring up the relevant thread.

I seem to recall playing with this on the D2a a few years ago and couldn't get it to work.
