After a great holiday in the SW of WA I am back and refreshed. Lots of Bourbon, some 4wdriving, camping, staying at a luxury cabin (Donnely Lakes thouroughly recommended), trout fishing, some wine tasting, conoeing, a hectic Royal show and boat show, I need another holiday to get over the one I just had. Obviously a few AULRO members familiar with the green pig recognised her as we got a few waves from other Rover drivers. Hopefulty my attempt to add a couple of pics will work. If not they are in the gallery.
I have said goodbye to the Rangie and that is back in SA in the hands of my Dad.

Looks like great pics. Getting away is always good. I'm hoping to do it more often in the future. December is already full with small trips so lets hope I get something big for next year.

There was talk of trying to change it. I'm still thinking that if going that far we can add a week or a few days for some traveling out there. Just need to find others who are also interested and get some more supplies. I now have some shakles in my recovery gear and I got the small car fridge working so just need to fix the three way and mount the side steps I am about to get 8)
Rest of recovery gear still to come...
Snatch strap
High Lift Jack
and I am set.
For Maree I will also want spares and a few jerry cans.

Cool I'm still keen. I've even been reading old mags on the various desert tracks.

Thanks for that Grizzly. The photo was taken at Wellington dam sort of between Collie and Donnybrook WA. It is the first time it has overflowed in about 6 years. Unfortuanately is not used for irrigation or drinking as is currently too salty. It was an awesome sight the kids loved it. The other upside is their was water spray every wher and this resulted in a few lovely young lasses having an unexpected wet t shirt comp, especially a couple that were wearing white. Off track a little. There are also some great camp sites around Wellington dam, great conoeing, marron in the dam (not allowed to catch)??, great snorkelling as it is very clear with lots of under water trees and marron, some great tracks around and near by.
