Trying out the nanocom found low turbo pressure, whilst not fast off the mark it doesn't seems down on power. The reading peaks at 1.12kpa under load. Any ideas !

thx in advance.

yours is 1.12 bar = 16psi

mine was .95 bar .. with the decat

i boosted it up ,,, didnt make that much difference

what mods have you done ?

Low boost logged fault can mean a previous fault ( eg intercooler hose came off) that wasn't cleared . 1.12 bar (as long as bar was what you meant ) wouldn't give that fault code . shorten the wastegate rod by one and a half turns , for a little improvement.....also clean your maf and map sensors and yep a decat is a good idea

Nanocom on mine reads 1.28-1.32 at WOT under load (18.56-19.14 psi)

IIRC I went 4 turns to get it to that setting,

CAT gone ......

No mods absolutely standard, will try map maf clean and turn of the boost but as said it might be the cat, It does make a fair rattle especially from cold.
Its only done 90k but previous owner only ever did short journeys so could be buggered.

can you recommend were to get a decat pipe.

thx

Yep , roverlord ....or a local exhaust shop could replace with standard 2 1/2" pipe , or get a non cat pipe off any early (10p engine)td5 disco from a wreckers

I was the one who fixed all my boost issues with a decat pipe mine only went to around 8psi under load and black soot high egts
Already had silicon hoses egr removal waste gate rod adjustment
Only replaced cat cause it rattled at idle and when I fitted and test drove bingo straight to over boost
Adjusted back and now Been on over a week it's a whole new car egt dropped by 250/300 degrees boost sits on around 18 psi on full noise fuel economy back and no vibrations
