D3 rear entertainment with chromecast

I would like to setup a streaming device such as a chromecast so the kids can cast movies from their/my phone/iPad to the rear entertainment screens. I haven't found any references on AULRO if anyone doing it.

I plan to get an hdmi to rca cable/adapter to go from the chromecast to the rca entertainment inputs in the back seat. Power to come from a usb power bank in the rear as well.

Has anyone done it, tried it, seen it, see any flaws in the plan above?

For those of you who are interested I have completed the install of the wifi reverse camera with a wifi AirPlay router as well. I plan to hard wire the air cast router when time permits so there are no cables in the back for the kids to break or play with. I also have a wireless streaming hard drive hooked up. The advantage of the hard drive is that no extra space is taken up on iPads or iPhones.... Plus!!! The kids don't have to ask for the good movies loaded on my phone :)

- use this link to wire and pull apart the back of the car. I tapped into power from the 12 volt socket for the reverse wifi

6. As an added extra I bought this so I can stream music to aux port. Beauty of this is sound can go to whole car, or just through earphones in the back.
