I'm guessing these were done around the mid 70's. I don't remember seeing them on TV as a boy.
They come up in my "feed" now, so I can actually see he's done heaps of these, all over the country even.
I like the way he works, maybe it just because he's kind of "new to me", so I'm looking forward to watching them all.
Love his little round fire box he had, and I've seen the boiling of the salt water thing before, not a bad idea to store in the memory banks I spose,, good to show kids too, they'd enjoy a "show and tell" like that.

On TV in the early 1980's from memory.
He was driving Sigma's at the time, so probably sponsored by Mitsubishi.
They were good shows to watch back in the day.
I have his cook book here somewhere too!
Also found his book "Safe Outback Travel" here in the bookshelf and it is from 1976. Early Hi-Lux on the cover.
