Its interesting, a fellow aulro'er canned me for a 4wd trip that had grog....
some dont care.... Like ME............
its nice to have an ale while working out the problems.
When i used to Rally we carried a bottle of Red in the back, for the breakdown's. Can be a long night.

There is nothing wrong with grog on a trip, aslong as it is consumed in moderation.

In the end it comes down to the indivdual. I think we are all sensible enough to know how much we can drink without it affecting our judgement and becoming potentially dangerous in off road dituations.

One of the guys in the USA that I meet last week, use to have a Jeep with 44's (and yes he used the jeep offroad) on them a huge V8 (no exhaust !!), he was a country boy 8)

Usually there are side tracks to get around the really ugly stuff.
Sometimes you need a Kubota to pull you up/through. 8)
Neither of us made it up that particular section. Too steep and off camber.

I will duct tape them to the side of the tyres on the car. I wont bring muddies for the wandin weekend cause any 4wding i do will be minimal due to time constraints but i will bring dads trailer down on the october weekend if it goes ahead and bring the muddies. I will need them then after seeing the slimy clay you guys get. Matt
