Email to Blackbox Solutions is the only way. If you try repairing it yourself you'll most likely invalidate the warranty.

Unfortunately Aust post basic included "insurance" for lost or damaged goods is only up to $50 plus cost of postage and it takes a few months for them to pay even when a tracked item is lost. If I ship anything it is always tracked, often with signature on delivery and covered by "extra insurance" if it is valued at over $100. Include the extra cover in the cost of postage paid by the buyer. If the packaging on a received item is damaged photograph it before opening and if possible open it in front of the delivery person before signing for the item.

No real damage to packing ,,, it was an express post bag
I have seen Australia post trow the bags from one van to the next ,,,maybe should have been packed a bit better ,, a single layer of bubble plastick and no box ,,, I know i would have packed it like it was a new heart for one of my kids ,,, but thats me ,,,
Any how looks like i have done my $$$$$$ again ,,,,,
The screen comes on its the digitiser ,,

I would have thought that the menu would be available when you plug it into a PC. Been a while since I did it.

I have been conversing with Rob about this sad case of him purchasing a used unit from another AULRO member that arrived damaged, by PM, but by the time I read Robs PM, Adrian, our main support guy, had already responded to his E-mail with details about the repair etc.
You don't need to be a member of the Nanocom forum to get help and although the Contact Us form on the Nanocom web site asks for the Electronic ID, it is optional rather than Mandatory to provide this.
In addition, as Rob has discovered, you can just E-mail BBS anyway, but have to appreciate that we are in a GMT +2 time zone, which, given our working hours typically means there may well be a significant delay before we get to respond.
Of course we not only respond to all E-Mails etc, but typically do so, especially for regular kinda stuff like someone having a broken screen Registration, on line access or code entry troubles etc, within an hour of reading it.
