I take it you don't need the BBS adapter boards in the early D4 then Tombie, just add the hardware and "adapted" tranny software....?

You got it! In my case a nice RRS wheel with the Paddles and perforated leather [emoji6]

Then bang on a 25a power supply to keep the ECUs happy and load the modified file...

Woohoo! Flappy paddle shift for 6 speed...

I have the "Graeme Special" instead of actual paddles. He wired in a wireless receiver to the loom and stuck a remote to the side of the steering wheel. Allows me to use command shift while in D and manual mode if the gear selector is pushed over to Sport/Manual.

My Tech 2 for my Saab cost over $2,500, and subscription was almost as much again per year... my IID Tool BT was cheap in comparison!

Before Nanocom etc I purchased a full diagnostic package with ALL LR models, cables, interface etc...

Was a cool $26,000...

Still have it and upgrade the tech and licences as I can...

Ironically repaired and mapped Muppets ECU with a $5 connector. Soldering iron and a $60 BDM unit!

I had thought that Muppet was human. But no, we now know he's some sort of cyborg.

I had thought that Muppet had read about humanity, and wanted to emulate it. But no, we now know he's some sort of cyborg.
