I have a 2003 D2 V8 and am wanting to know what the largest size mud terrains are that I can fit without rubbing

18inch rims with stock suspension.

Don't mean to be rude but use the search function dude. This has been done to death about a million times. Eg: http://www.aulro.com/afvb/discovery-2/135504-265-65r18-tyres-disco-2-a.html etc etc. The search function works really well.

Welcome onboard to me!

Don't mean to be rude, but you were. I had already searched to no avail.
Legitimate question, poor answer.

I wasn't meaning to be rude - I was aiming at direct ;). So apologies if you interpreted it as rude as it wasn't meant to be.

Scroll to the bottom of the screen. Use the google search of Aulro function and put in any combination of "Discovery 2 18 inch wheels" etc and use a multiple of variations. You should find hours of reading pleasure.

And welcome to the forum. :D

And why not swap to 16s for a wider variety of choice in off road tyres? Keep the 18's for the road. Or sell them and use them to pay for the 16's.

Sorry but we all know the search function is pretty average, oftem much easier to do a google search and then click on the AULRO link.

There is a custom google search built into AULRO at the bottom of every screen. ;)

The search function at the top isn't much chop. No custom search on the app or tapatalk though if you're using them to access AULRO. Only via regular Web access.

I'm running 265/60r18 Yokohama Geolander.
According to an LRO article a few months back, its the largest tyre you can fit to an 18" rim on the D2 with no other work required.

This is what I based my own selection on.
Certainly have no issues with mine.

I recently fitted 265/75R16 (31.6") On the day before I lifted the girl, It scrubbed big time on the OEM front bar. After the 2'' lift It still scrubbed slightly. (nothing abit of neat grinding can fix)

I have now a bar fitted which solved all the issues.

As others mentioned, I searched and found about 15+ threads regarding this Q before I fitted.

I also run the same. Mine came with 18 inch wheels.

Sourcing 16 inch wheels was the first thing I did after purchasing the vehicle.
