I've had a look at the rear shocker, it clunks quite bit. The bushes look totally stuffed. The shocker is a Pedders Red 9500. What size bushes do I get? or are they a standard size? As you may be aware, I know bugger all about the bits on the Disco, untill I get to work on it. :D
Super Cheap Auto Mart have bushes, do I get Poly or rubber or...
Thanks in advance.

Definately Poly for a D2. When you get into the mud the rubber wears out pretty quickly. The best ones I've had have been the red ones from Rancho funnily enough.

I recently had to renew the top bushes on my right rear shock (bilsteins) they are a nolathane/neoprene type material, I lubricated them with some lithium grease on re-assembly, not sure if that's the right thing to do or not, but it made putting then back together easier.

Rumour vine has it that Chris is bringing up a petrol generator, a wide screen projector to stream his how to tutorials at the forthcoming wombat Venue. Insiders tell me that he is still playing with the idea of using the forest trees as a screen, or whether he needs large drop sheets to hang as a screen.;)
