Disco 2 Climate Control

G'day, picked up a great 2002 Disco last month, Td5 manual only 170,00km on the clock. It looks like someone has spilt something on the climate cotrol as there is water mark behind the display plastic, has anyone ever removed the front on the LCD screen to clean behind it?

well I have just found out as I was unsure and also I had some sort of streaks behind the glass


I used a small flatt eltrical screwdriver and eased up the right side I went very slow incase the screen broke


it is held in with some sort of doublesided sticky tape


you will need to renew the glue or sticky tape when you re install
