Disco 2 central locking

Hi all . Im still having issues with my central locking . No doors are working with the inside button or key button . It does make a noise and you can see the door latchtes are moving slightly . Just no where near enough to work .
The car had been sitting for 12 months and I charged , or so I think a dead as battery . Ive taken the door skins off . any help is good help

Start the engine and if they behave the same then with the dash button you'll have to replace all the latches

ok . I think that may have been said before . but my question is , the latches . do you mean the that part that moves up ans down at the top od the door . or the actual locking motor

The latches = actuators(those with the motors within)

So I've put a new battery in and the drivers door is working . Up , down and with the key and the interior button . But only the drivers door .any more help please .

All the other doors than driver's are on the same circuit, if you hear or see activity in the actuators when you try to lock/unlock with fob or dash switch it means that the circuit is good but the actuators worn unless there's a bad contact somewhere, get to the tail door actuator cos it's the esasyest to access and measure voltage across pink/purple and pink/red wires while you lock/unlock(it changes polarity on each command) and compare voltage with what you get on the battery, if the voltage will drop more than 0.5V it's abd contact or is possible that only one motor is stuck and the voltage drops on it, very hard to diagnose unless you remove all the door cards and unplug them one by one....better replace the tail door actuator with known good oner and if that will work don't chase for other fault just replace the others too
