Thought I put this as a seperate questions for feedback.
Need to replace the rear leaf springs on the S2A i'm renovating as they are rusted, pitted and a leaf is broken. I've scrubbed up the front leaves but there is still a significant amount of pitting but not as bad as the rear.
Looked at new rear springs and priced at over $1000 delivered to ACT.
Have found a full set of springs orderd by a gent as a 2" lift to fit larger tyres on his S2A....all 4 springs for half the price.
Any dissadvantage in a 2" lift? Universal joints, drive, handling, off road ability?
I'm not looking to "pimp" up the vehicle or install larger tyres....just a good way to get 4 new springs into renovation.
Any advice appreciated.
