When I use my indicators, the arrows don't light up on the dash. One of many jobs will be to pull the binnacle apart and see why.

So far I've been a locksmith and a mechanic. Why not become an auto-electrician before the week is through?!

Why not indeed? I've not done the locksmith thing yet. However I have been a mechanic, auto-electrician and auto trimmer (roof liner)

Before the Land Rover I had zero torque wrenches, now I have three.

What about when you push the hazard button?

Externally, all six indicators flash, inside? nothing.

Oh hell no! All I saw was circuit boards and LEDs! Way above my pay grade! I did manage to disconnect the high beam bulb. Only realized that once everything was back together again!! Take it apart again?!

I doubt that the problem is withing the instrument pack, the dash indication is managed by the BCU through the IDM dry joints or corrosion due to water ingress are quite common in the fusebox(IDM) but the BCU can't be ruled out either, the relays are only for exterior lamps operation so those are good:

... The direction indicators and hazard warning lamp operation is controlled by the Body
Control Unit (BCU), Intelligent Driver Module (IDM) and two electronic relays in the
passenger compartment fusebox. The IDM and the relays are are an integral part of the
passenger compartment fusebox and cannot be serviced individually.
The direction indicator circuit uses the serial data bus between the BCU, IDM and the
instrument pack for flasher and hazard request and operation....
