Hi,
Finding these Land Rover forums so helpful. We have recently purchased a brand new 2016 Discovery 4 TDV6 (had it since July). Really great car and was planning trip up to Queensland end of the month - Fraser Island, etc. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago while driving in really heavy rain, the wipers locked in upright position, we had no visibility at 100km/hr but managed to pull over. We sat with the car off for 5 minutes then the wipers started to work again. Took it to Land Rover, they replaced the relay. Two weeks later wipers fail again. Took it to Land Rover, they replaced the wiper motor. Around two weeks later, wipers have failed again. They eventually start working after stopping and waiting a few minutes. Car is now back at Land Rover and I think they're guessing as to what the problem is. Has anyone experienced this issue or something like it? Are there any recommended Land Rover mechanics that I could get a second opinion from (in Victoria) Any help appreciated.
Thanks Joe
