Wondering if anyone has rewired their 2nd row 12v port to their traxide dual battery? If so does anyone have some instructions/pictures/etc regarding removal of all the internal panels and where best to run the wiring?

I have.
If you go thru the Traxide website you will find the option. It includes a low voltage cut out so an Engel wont over discharge the aux battery.I left the factory plug as is and fitted a new 12V ciggy socket and 12V merit socket for the engel.
Tims wiring diagram shows how to convert the exsisting supply to the traxide power.

Hi Landy Andy,

I cant see anything about the 2nd row socket on traxides website. The kit has 3rd row socket changes. Im also interested as I would like to use the same branch in the 2nd row to power a UHF.

Sorry,it is the 3rd row in mine.
Simple, run the wire to the b pillar, under the seat and into the console, rewire the outlet.
I will be running my low voltage protected rear supply to the dash to run a Blackvue camera/Tablet/TomTom soon.

Anyone got any clues on pulling the console apart?

If you are running the wire for a UHF,why not leave the exsisting plug as is and put some sort of marine bus bar(power distribution box) under the seat for further power connection????

I don't know if the Discos and Sports are the same on this point, but I just noticed the other day (when I replaced the blown fuse!) that the second row socket in my car is already permanently powered...
