Hope someone can help ,
Doing a seven seat conversion on disco 3 but noticed 2nd row seats only flip the backrests forward but dont flip the bottom forward. Looks like the brackets are fixed by bolts to the floor but do have the hinging system and pull cord on bottom back. Are these seats different on s than from vehicles that were factory fitted like se etc.

The factory 7 seat models also have extra reinforcing panels in the cargo area floor. But yes, the middle row seats are different on the factory 7 seater

Hmm ok ,
Im guessing ill have to look further in to it. Just sems weird how it has the hinge system on the frame as well as the back rest flip buttlon and seat base flip cord on rear bottom of seat.
More jittering around. Lol

2nd row seats are different. It also seems like you also need air suspension to comply with design rules (at least in the uk ). You would need to check out ADR's in Aus. Disco3 UK site has a few threads on the subject. You can start by checking this one out DISCO3.CO.UK - View topic - 5 to 7 seat conversion? (http://www.disco3.co.uk/forum/topic74252.html?highlight=7+seat+conversion&start=15)
Good luck.
