Clutch nearly worn out?

I have adjusted the clutch pedal to the recommended height from the floor of my 2010 Puma and now the lock nuts on the master cylinder pushrod have run out of thread (up the master cylinder end). Does this mean the clutch plate is nearly worn out. The clutch takes up from a bit over 1/2 way up, I prefer it a bit before 1/2 way because it seems easier when towing the camper.
