Just wondering whether anyone has converted a Defender 90 station wagon into a soft top or knows of anywhere that would do the conversion - and at what price? I realise most would be attempting the reverse (ie. from soft top to station wagon). Its a standard 2010 build Defender 90 Puma.
I'm pretty sure the parts would be available (hood, tailgate etc) to order from UK. Also would it meet compliance?

It would meet compliance if the correct ROPS was fitted. Be that Genuine LR or something like a Safety Devices one.

Then just things like tailgate, hinges, seals, and canvas, and seats? best to fit Genuine on these.

I am considering going the other way with my 90, soft top to hard so have all the hoops, seals, hood, brackets tail gate etc. Might be interested in some kind of swap deal...

As inspiration you could check out Icon's D90 build:

Icon are known for charging hundreds of thousands of US dollars, but there might be some ideas you could achieve more cheaply.
