Gday all,

Last week I had the Xrox bar fitted. I love the aesthetics of the bar and understand headlight protection is practically 0%, but the pro's were still in favour.

Only downfall I have with this is the exposed radiator as per photo below. Especially when I only just installed a brand new one 1000km ago.

When I asked OL regarding the bash plate, he didn't have anything in their catalogue or price list. Which is odd, as it it's pictured with the bullbar. :o

What I'm ask is, anyone out there with a Xrox bar have this same issue? Where did you buy your bash plate?

I have noticed with aftermarket bash plates, it still leaves the radiator exposed.

Would you be able to mount some cut steel for that gap? where would you mount it to

I would simply extend the bash plate shown in your second photo forward to cover the gap. Doesn't look difficult at all to me. I wouldn't expect it to need any additional bracing as, at that extended height, all it will really be doing is deflecting sticks etc downward away from the bottom of the radiator.

If you don't have the gear to make up something like this yourself at home, send the photo in to APT and ask them if they will make you one of their bash plates as shown in the photo, but with the bash plate itself extended forward. They are a fabrication shop, and I would think that they could do this easily. ;)

Thanks for the suggestion, Unfortunately I don't have the stuff to do it. Next house I've been promised a big garage for everything :)

I have sent APT a message with what I need.

Wondering if anyone on AULRO is willing to make something up for $$$
