Ok, after browsing this site looking for the oil filter part number as I cant see a number on the existing filter I have found 2 completely different parts.
Here is one number listed which is Isuzu 8943212191
Which crosses to a Donaldson P550422
Then have found Z333, LF3522
Which crosses to a Donaldson P550389
Both the Isuzu, Ryco and Fleetgaurd numbers where found on this site but are completely different sizes when crossed over to Donaldson.
Or is it a case of there are actually two different filters on these beasts?

Bingo. Or actually 3 if you include the civvie version.
The 4x4s AFAIK had a large single upright spin on filter. The Z333 and equivalents is the full flow filter in the dual filter setup - which was fitted to trucks - and maybe 6x6(?)

My comment that went along with that link disappeared for some reason.
Those numbers in that post from me are correct and what I have used to order parts.
The 4x4 has a single oil filter, the 6x6 has a dual filter setup.

I have used this part number (P550422) from Dondaldson and have issues with the anti-drain back valve. It seems a bit hit and miss though as others haven't had this problem.

Same issue here with a Fleetguard - oil light stayed on at start up for a lot longer than I'd like due to the ADBV not doing its job.
Ditched the new filter and fitted an Isuzu filter and all is good again. Even after a few weeks of non use, the Isuzu filter will hold its oil.
