I'm in Sales, I have to turn up to work for 5 days but what I do while I'm there probably wouldn't make up 4 days...

I actually worked a four day week for last 10-15yrs of my working life.
In essence I still worked about 50hrs each week though.

Cool, I could squeeze 7 days worth of work into 4 days instead of 5.

Four ten hour days would suit me fine. I practically do the same with wy unpaid every week. But if we're a job sharing scheme , maybe less on benefits or undocumented unemployed could be working again.

We have a nine day fortnight which means every second Friday off. Love it.

Police, ambos etc?
Youngest son is on 14 on, 14 off, which has advantages and disadvantages, but he's about to go on a normal 5 days for a promotion.
In my work a 10 hour day would be pointless because the students are flat out concentrating for 6 hours.
Some Chinese schools run 10 hour days, but its really child minding while the parents are at work, so they fill the day up with sport and similar activities.
