Can anyone help, I want to disable with a switch the rear parking sensors on our 2010 RR sport. If anyone has done this before or know the wires I need to wire in a switch. Any help is much appreciated.

There should already be a button on the dash to disable the parking sensors. Are you wanting to disable them permanently?

Think I just read the other day on here that there was only a switch to turn the parkers off when the optional front parkers were fitted...

RRS version 1 has the button on the dash but I understand that RRS version 2 no longer has this switch.

Begs the question why do you want to switch them off?

Wire up a trailer plug with resistors to simulate the electrical load of a trailer, and when you plug that into the black trailer socket it should silence the rear parking sensors.

But you will then also get the trailer light on the dash when you indicate, loose your reversing lights. Also I think the engine and gearbox programming changes and I think the ability to change height on the suspension is cancelled (not sure on this).

There is more to just cancelling the rear sensors when the car thinks there is a trailer connected.

A RRS may be different, but my D4 doesnt lose reversing lights or suspension height adjustment when a trailer is connected.

On RRS when trailer is connected it doesn't disconnect reversing lights nor all suspension adjustment. But, it does activate the trailer sway software. And, it will limit suspension adjustment - I think from memory that they don't like to go into off road height with trailer on. Plus you always have light.
If you have front parking sensors there should be a button as mentioned, this turns all off if you choose. But only at that time as soon as you restart car, the sensors come on again. As per earlier post, why do you need them off?
