Hi folks,
Thought I would update you with my new defender and roadworthy issues
I bought a 2002 xtreme last week and subsequently took it in for a roady
All was good except I have the ABS and T/C warning lights on - an automatic fail.
So I needed these to be fixed, took it out to put it on the nanocom and faults logged were L/F sensor and shuttle valve fault
I knew the of sensor was bugged we so asked how much a new one was
The spare parts bloke was really apologetic when he told me it was $488 just for the one sensor, I declined.
Ended up getting a 2nd hand one from a puma for $80 they also told me a disco post 99 would also fit. So half the issue fixed, the nanocom now only logs the shuttle valve fault.
So I'm about to test with multimeter to see if that's stuffed or If i can get away with just fitting a new switch.
I will keep you all posted to the results.
